WHAT SORT OF TREATMENT IS AVAILABLE?
Avoiding the causes
or supressing the symptoms with chemicals
is all very well, but what about treating
the allergy so that the body no longer over-reacts?
The majority of sources recommend complete
avoidance of the suspected allergen, once you have discovered
what it is. This is undoubtedly a good method of removing
allergy symptoms, but it's not always practical - especially
if your allergen happens to be pollen or traffic fumes!
The medical profession have found ways of
suppressing allergic symptoms by using various drugs - steroids,
inhalers, anti-histamines, painkillers etc., but these don't
remove the cause of the allergy, and they often produce more
problems in the form of side effects to the drugs.
Many people have suffered from their allergies
for so long that they have forgotten what it feels like to
be without them! They even find it hard to imagine that there
is a way of losing their allergies for good.
Health Kinesiology (HK) is probably the most
successful complementary therapy there is at removing the
causes of allergy. Back in the late 1980's, Dr. Jimmy Scott
(the founder of Health Kinesiology) produced his best-selling
book "Cure Your Own Allergies In Minutes", where he describes
his technique of tapping on various points on the body in
the presence of the allergen to re-introduce the substance
to the body so it will stop reacting inappropriately to it.
You can read about this on www.subtlenergy.com.
This technique has been refined and expanded
over the years into a complete menu of energy corrections
that are taught to all HK practitioners. Clients are constantly
amazed to lose symptoms and even chronic conditions that they
have had for years, after only a few HK sessions. Unfortunately,
it is not (yet) available on the NHS, but for the equivalent
cost of a few visits to the hairdresser you could be well
on the road to better health - and no allergies! For further
information, go to www.hk4health.com.
where there are many case histories and testimonials for you
to browse, as well as details of HK practitioners in the UK.
